Position Title: Aquatics Director
Location: Camp Alice Pittenger- McCall, ID
Salary Range: $115 a day
Dates: June 18th to August 10, 2025

The best, most fun, challenging job you will ever love. As the Waterfront Coordinator you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the waterfront program and mentor Lifeguards.
This position includes room and board for the length of employment.

Responsibilities:
With the Program Manager, lead the waterfront orientation and trainings to all camp staff during staff training.
With the Program Manager, facilitate weekly waterfront in-services for all waterfront staff.
Maintain waterfront equipment and inventory.
Educate and inform campers of all rules at waterfront.
Provide warnings to behavior that act against the rules.
Deny access to any non-specified swimming and boating areas.
Provide complete and substantial supervision and have the ability to provide total accountability of actions.
Identify the different types of swimmers (poor, average, and experienced) be aware of these levels for each camper, and enforce rules provided.
Conduct an inventory of program supplies at the start and end of the camp season and ensure supplies are stored properly.
Help provide a healthy environment for success of each camper, and an atmosphere for developing good morale and well-being throughout the camp.
Daily interaction and supervision of campers.
Maintain an awareness of the actual day to day life within the camp to ensure quality programming.
Participate in unit and all-camp activities as assigned.
Be responsible for the supervision and care of campers during designated/ specific activities and facilitating delivery of programs within a unit.
Work with the Program Manager to create weekly waterfront schedules for all units on camp
Other Duties as assigned.
Skills/ Qualifications:
Must be at least 19 years old
A valid lifeguarding certification from a nationally recognized organization. Must have experience lifeguarding.
A lifeguarding certification with a waterfront endorsement is preferred.
Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred
First Aid and CPR certifications
Must feel comfortable living in a rustic camp environment with limited access to cell phone service and internet
Must have experience working with children
